Jigawa: Gov Badaru Signs 2022 Appropriation Bill Into Law

Jigawa State Governor Muhammad Badaru Abubakar signed the 2022 appropriation bill into law on Wednesday.

The budget was signed less than 24 hours after the state House of Assembly approved it.

According to the DAILY POST, Governor Badaru presented a N177,795,588 appropriation bill to the state House of Assembly on November 10, 2021, for the fiscal year 2022.

The Governor, on the other hand, praised the assembly for passing the bill so quickly in the interest of the state.

He promised that the budget would be fully implemented from January to December 2022.

As a result, he charged the commissioners, heads of MDAs, and agencies to begin working on the budget’s implementation.
