BREAKING: Buhari Submitted Error-Filled Budget To National Assembly — Lawan

The 2023 Appropriations Bill presented by President Muhammadu Buhari to the National Assembly contains numerous flaws, according to Senate President Ahmad Lawan.

Prior to the Senate’s adjournment on Thursday, the President of the Senate announced this.

Lawan, however, asserted that the budget’s faults are being fixed by the Senate, the House of Representatives, and the Executive.

Due to the numerous mistakes, according to Lawan, the National Assembly will not be able to pass the budget as scheduled today and will instead reconvene on December 28.

According to him, the process of cleaning the errors contained in the Appropriations bill was concluded on Wednesday and the two chambers have to harmonise the copy to be able to present the report for passage by both chambers.
