Adamu Garba: Shekau’s Death Lesson To Nnamdi Kanu, Sunday Igboho

Adamu Garba, a former presidential aspirant, has reacted to the death of Boko Haram leader, Abubakar Shekau.

Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, and Sunday Adeyemo, popularly known as Igboho, were both taught a lesson by Shekau’s killing, according to Garba.

Shekau was said to have been slain in a skirmish between his forces and Islamic State West Africa Province fighters (ISWAP).

Shekau died on Wednesday evening during a battle for supremacy, according to a situation report (SITREP).

According to the allegation, ISWAP fighters commanded by Bana Duguri raided Boko Haram’s hideaway in Sambisa and demanded that the terrorist leader hand over his position.

He allegedly refused and blew himself up in order to escape being apprehended alive.

The Nigerian military and intelligence agencies are aware of Shekau’s death, according to News Direct.

Garba reacted by saying that the feared terrorist commander should have been stoned to death on live TV.

This was said in a tweet by past All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidates.

“My only worry about Shekau’s death is that he had the freedom to choose how he died,” he wrote.

“He should have been stoned to death by villagers in front of a live television audience in Doron Baga Market Square, under the supervision of the Nigerian military.

“Kanu and Igboho will get a message from that.”
