In Kwara, A Fulani Leader Was Assassinated

In Lamba town, Asa local government area of Kwara state, unknown gunmen assassinated a Fulani leader, Alhaji Abdullahi Hardo Buruku, also known as Alhaji Malam.

According to a resident of Lamba, the gunmen stormed the town around 12 a.m. on Wednesday, shooting in the air.

“They shot him right there on the spot. He said, “We heard gunfire all everywhere.” Aina’u Hardo Buruku, one of the deceased’s sisters, verified the incident to News men.

According to her, the shooters approached the deceased in his bedroom and murdered him.

The deceased was the chairman of the Gan Allah Fulani Development Association of Nigeria, Kwara state section, till his death. He was the eldest son of Alhaji Mu’azu Hardo Buruku, the late Sarkin Fulani of Kwara.
