I’m Tired Of My 45-Year-Marriage, Going Back To Bachelorhood – Charly Boy

Charles Oputa, often known as Charly Boy or Area Fada, is a contentious Nigerian performer who has hinted at a future divorce from his wife Diane.

On Tuesday, Oputa expressed regret about the prospect of returning to “bachelorhood” after “almost 45 years of marriage” on his Twitter page.

You, My People What would you say if I told my wife, whom I have been married to for more than 45 years, that I was returning to my single status? In pidgin, he wrote.

“I don talk say dis marriage of a thing is no easy,” he said. It gets harder the longer you stay. What ought I to do? I get tired.

Commenting under his post, another Twitter user, @Po_li_cap_ , advised the singer to try settling the rift amicably with his wife.

Area Fada, as he is also known, replied that there is no “beef” between himself and Diane, but he was just tired of the marriage.

The singer married Diane, an African-American singer in 1979. The couple renewed their vows in 2018.
