Eid-el-Kabir: Terrorists Openly Preach Against Democracy In Kaduna Villages

Members of the terrorist organization Ansaru publicly preached in numerous communities in Kaduna State’s Brinin-Gwari Local Government Area as part of their celebrations for Eid ul-Kabir.

According to a source from one of the impacted villages, the terrorists are convincing the locals to give up formal education and respect for established authorities in order to adopt their brand of Islam, which despises democracy.

Prior to two months ago, when they visited communities and distributed sweets and other foods as Sallah gifts, the terrorists took the time to engage with the residents and encouraged them to obtain weapons and start an uprising against the government.

The terrorists told the townspeople that they would be safe from any bandits who might try to harm them.

The terrorists lambasted the President Muhammadu Buhari-led administration, stressing that it failed to protect the lives and property of the people while urging the locals not to fall for the call to effect change through any electoral process in a two-page pamphlet.

The source explained to DAILY POST that the terrorists had been preaching their anti-government and anti-democracy stance since Saturday, Eid el-Kabir day.

The source added that the terrorists visited Damari, Unguwar Gajere, Kakini, Kuyello and Kwasa Kwasa villages on Monday all in Brinin-Gwari LGA.

He further explained, “During their propagation, the terrorists, who are mostly young men, moved on dozens of motorcycles decked with flags with Arabic inscriptions.”

According to him, the terrorists blasted the federal, state and local government authorities, alleging that democracy is against the teaching of Islam and they also called out Muslim clerics who called for prayers for democratic leaders.

He added that the terrorists also enjoined the people to ensure they source for arms and fight against the government.

He explained that the terrorists backed their claims by wrongly interpreting some verses of the Holy Qur’an and prophetic sayings that people would continue to suffer until they forcefully changed their leaders.
