I Warned Peter Obi To Withdraw From Presidential Race; Not To Waste His Time, Money – Anambra Businessman, Arthur Eze
Prince Arthur Eze, a celebrated business millionaire who was born in Anambra State, has denounced Mr. Peter Obi’s aspiration to become the next president of Nigeria.
He said that he had explicitly told Peter Obi that he was not a part of his plans and that he should get out of the race, but that he had received no response.
Eze said this while speaking during the 2022 Ofala celebration of Igwe Robert Eze, the traditional leader of Ukpo in the state’s Dunukofia local government area, adding that he advised Obi to put his goal on hold and wait till the next time.
He said; “I warned Peter Obi to withdraw from this race but he would not listen. I told him plainly that I am not part of his plans. I told him to drop his ambition, and wait for next time.
“When he told me about his ambition, I asked him the states he thinks he can win in the west and in the north, he told me; but I was not convinced. I told him he cannot win; so that he would not waste his time and money,” he added.
