Police Arrest Lagos Island Gang Leader For Slashing Man’s Intestine

Tolani Yusuf, a wanted thug, was arrested and is presently in police custody.

According to Eagle Online, he was detained by the Lagos State Police Command’s State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID).

Yusuf is the leader of ‘O strong,’ a dangerous gang that has terrorized Lagos Island people.

The gang boss and his henchmen are accused of committing a series of robberies and killings.

Yusuf recently sliced one Tajudeen Sodiq’s stomach, prompting the authorities to initiate a new manhunt. The victim’s bowel was sliced by the impact.

After some adolescents overpowered him and forced the knife from his grip, the attacker fled.

Yusuf is claimed to have boasted that because he works with politicians, he will only be detained for three months.

Lagos Island is known for having a large number of criminals. For decades, the peace has remained tenuous as rivals attack one another at will.

Two days of deadly skirmishes in Idumota, Kosoko, Oluwole, Martins, and Balogun in January paralyzed economic operations.

The Lagos administration ordered the police to investigate and prosecute the masterminds after public outcry and claims of official cover-up.

Azeez Adekunle Lawal (Kunle Poly), Prince Idowu Onikoyi Johnson, and Agboola Akeem Kosoko were detained less than a week later.

Lawal, a leader of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW), and others were remanded at the Police Zone 2 Headquarters in Onikan by a Yaba Chief Magistrate’s Court.
