Gov Mohammed appoints new Chief of Staff

Aminu Gamawa has been appointed as the new Chief of Staff, Government House, Bauchi, by Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State.

Gamawa succeeds Ladan Salihu, who was fired along with commissioners and other political appointments, as well as the Secretary to the Bauchi Government, on June 9.

Mohammed’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Mr Mukhtar Gidado, revealed this in a statement on Monday.

“Gamawa works with a variety of organizations, including government agencies, educational institutions, and non-profits.

In part, the announcement read, “He is the Chairman, Bauchi State COVID-19 Economic Recovery Committee 2020, and Vice Chairman, World Bank States Fiscal Transparency, Accountability, and Sustainability (SFTAS) in the state.”
