Gov. Matawalle Appoints New Head of Service
Hon. Bello Mohammed Matawalle, the Governor of Zamfara State, has approved the appointment of Alhaji Kabiru Muhammad Gayari as the state’s new Head of Service.
The governor’s Director-General, Press Affairs, Comrade Yusuf Idris Gusau, released a statement to reporters in Gusau, the state capital.
The appointment came after Alhaji Kabiru Balarabe, the former Head of Service, was promoted to Secretary to the State Government (SSG).
According to the statement, Kabiru Muhammad Gayari was appointed as the Head of Service with immediate effect.
Alhaji Gayari was the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Finance until his appointment, and the longest-serving Permanent Secretary, Budget and Economic Planning since the inception of Zamfara State, as well as a former Chairman of the Zamfara State Board of Internal Revenue Service.
