Free Sunday Igboho, Nnamdi Kanu, Arrest Sheikh Gumi, Bandits — Deji Adeyanju Tells Buhari

The Federal Government of Nigeria, led by President Muhammadu Buhari, has been urged to release Sunday Adeyemo, a Yoruba Nation agitator known as Sunday Igboho, and Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB.

Instead, Deji Adeyanju, the convener of Concerned Nigerian, believes the government to arrest Sheikh Ahmad Gumi, a popular Islamic preacher.

The Abuja-based activist demanded that the government stop forgiving repentant Boko Haram terrorists in a tweet.

According to Adeyanju: “Free Nnamdi Kanu and arrest Gumi and bandits now. Also stop forgiving Boko Haram terrorists and spending billions to rehabilitate them. Leave Igboho alone as well.”

After being re-arrested in an African country believed to be Kenya, Kanu is being held by the Department of State Services, or DSS.

The IPOB leader was re-arrested because of his calls for Nigeria’s disintegration and the creation of Biafra.

Following his latest arrest, Igboho is being held by security officers in Benin Republic.

While attempting to board a trip to Germany, the Yoruba Nation agitator was apprehended in Cotonou.

He had fled Nigeria to Cotonou after the DSS proclaimed him wanted following a raid on his home in Ibadan’s Soka neighborhood, where firearms were seized.

Meanwhile, Gumi is rumored to have connections with bandits raiding the country’s northern regions.
