EPL: Paul Pogba Sets Record As Man United Demolish Leeds United

Following Manchester United’s 5-1 triumph over Leeds United at Old Trafford on Saturday, Paul Pogba became the first Red Devils player to record four assists in a single Premier League game.

Man United won 3-0 against Leeds thanks to four assists from Pogba, including a hat-trick from Bruno Fernandes and goals from Mason Greenwood and Fred.

The France international will now look to build on his great performance for Man United when they face Southampton on August 22.

The midfielder is yet to sign a new contract with Man United, which will expire next year.

Speaking about Pogba’s future at his pre-match press conference, Man United boss, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, said: “It’s been spoken and written about so often but every discussion I have had with Paul is a positive one.

“He knows what we want and hopefully, it stays in the background and Paul and us will make a decision together.

“It (the situation) will always be like this with Paul – he’s a media’ magnet’.”
