Benue: Gov Ortom Reacts To Killing Of Two Pastors, Charges Security Agents

Benue State Governor Samuel Ortom has denounced the deaths of two pastors in the Ochoro community of the state’s Konshisha Local Government Area.

Security operatives have been tasked by Ortom to apprehend individuals responsible for the deaths of two pastors, Moses Ijoko and Emmanuel Aleje.

The act was condemned as reprehensible by the Governor’s spokeswoman, Tever Akase, in a statement.

He urged the Chairman of the Konshisha Local Government and other local stakeholders to ensure that the killers and their sponsors be apprehended and brought to justice.

Those putting the state government’s attempts to end the issue between Konshisha and Oju in jeopardy, no matter who they are, will face justice, according to the Governor.

He underlined his administration’s resolve not to hand over the state to criminals, and urged Benue residents to provide security agents with timely and meaningful information to help them succeed.

Governor Ortom urged residents of the area to remain calm and assured them that the boundary between Bonta and Ukpute will be delineated shortly, as the committee charged with facilitating the process has completed its work.
