Mbappe Makes Shocking U-turn On His Future At PSG
According to Spanish radio network Cadena SER, Paris Saint-Germain striker Kylian Mbappe has reversed his decision and now wants to stay at Le Parc des Princes beyond this summer.
Mauricio Pochettino has been advised by PSG Sporting Director Leonardo that Mbappe will be available for selection this season.
Mbappe had requested that PSG trade him due to Real Madrid’s interest.
Mbappe’s future has been a topic of discussion for much of last season and so far this season.
PSG is in the final year of his contract with the France international.
The 22-year-old has yet to agree to a new contract with the club, which means he will be a free agent next summer.
Mbappe’s departure from PSG next summer is still a possibility, but for the time being, he is committed to the French Ligue 1 giants.
Along with Neymar, he will now have the option to play alongside new teammate Lionel Messi as part of a dangerous attacking group.
PSG trounced Strasbourg 4-2 in Ligue 1 action over the weekend, with Mbappe scoring twice.
