De Bruyne Named 3rd World Best Footballer Behind Messi And Ronaldo
Kevin De Bruyne has been lauded by Manchester City’s newest signing, Jack Grealish, as the world’s third finest footballer behind Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.
After completing a £100 million transfer from Aston Villa on Thursday, Grealish has become the most expensive English player ever.
The England midfielder has expressed his delight at the prospect of playing with De Bruyne.
“I have spoken about him a good few times. I have always said that apart from Ronaldo and Messi I think he is the best in the world.
“I think he has got absolutely everything. He is another one where I don’t think people give him credit for how fast he is.
“He normally knocks the ball by defenders, his final ball is obviously unbelievable.
“I have never played alongside him, I have played against him a few times, got his shirt, but he is one that I cannot wait to play alongside,” Grealish said in his first interview as a City player.
