Buhari Returns To Nigeria Today

President Muhammadu Buhari is scheduled to return to Nigeria on Friday, August 12, 2021, barring any last-minute changes.

After a two-week vacation in the United Kingdom, President Buhari is expected to return to Nigeria by 5 p.m. today.

All Sector Commanders and Divisional Police Officers in the Federal Capital Territory command have been directed to mobilize appropriately inward Abuja, according to a police wireless message made accessible to DAILY POST.

“Mr President will be arriving Abuja from his trip outside the country tomorrow (Friday), the 12/08/2021 by 1700hrs.

“Compol (Commissioner of Police) directs all Sector Commanders and DPOs to deploy adequately inward Abuja. Time in position, 1530hrs,” the police message read in part.

Buhari left Nigeria on July 26 for the United Kingdom to attend the Global Education Summit on Financing the Global Partnership for Education (GPE) 2021-2025, as previously reported.

The President also stayed for a few days for a medical examination.

Buhari also paid a visit to former Lagos State Governor and APC National Leader Bola Tinubu, who is supposed to be recuperating in the United Kingdom, on Thursday.
