Senator Peter Nwaoboshi has switched allegiances to the ruling All Progressives Congress.
When President Muhammadu Buhari welcomed Nwaoboshi at the State House on Friday, it was confirmed that he had defected.
The Deputy Senate President, Ovie Omo-Agege, presented the Senator who represents Delta North District in Delta State to Buhari at the State House.
Buhari is said to have greeted him as a new member of the All Progressive Congress (APC).
He had said, “You are welcome to the progressives family.”
Recall that Sen. Nwaoboshi was suspended from the PDP a few days ago.
PDP had said the lawmaker was suspended over “anti-party” activities.
