Imo Assembly Receives Uzodinma’s List Of Commissioner Nominees
On Monday, the Imo House of Assembly received a list of 17 nominees for ratification of their appointment as state Executive Council commissioners.

During plenary, Speaker Kennedy Ibe (APC-Obowo) read the names from a letter sent by Governor Hope Uzodimma to the House.
He gave the committee till Tuesday to complete the screening and report to the House.
The House also decided to give the governor a vote of confidence for allowing the urgent renovation of all 305 primary care centers built across the state’s 27 local government regions.
Deputy Speaker Amara China Iwuanyanwu proposed the motion, saying the governor has done a good job.
Governor Uzodinma, according to Iwuanyanwu, has kept his campaign pledges.
