BREAKING: Sanwo-Olu Blesses Olympic Gold Medalist, Ajunwa With Three-bedroom Flat

Nigeria’s lone individual Olympic gold medalist Chioma Ajunwa has been awarded a three-bedroom apartment by Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu.

Ajunwa, an Assistant Commissioner of Police, would receive a three-bedroom flat in the Babatunde Raji Fashola Housing Estate in Iponri, according to Lagos State Governor Akinwunmi Ambode.

The award comes 25 years after former Lagos State Military Administrator Olagunsoye Oyinlola offered Ajunwa a mansion in exchange for her gold medal in the 1996 Atlanta Olympics in the long jump.
