BREAKING: Pandemonium In Abuja School Owned By Bishop Oyedepo’s Winners Chapel As Diesel Tanker Explodes Near School, Church

Parents raced to pick up their children from Kingdom Heritage Model School in Jahi, Federal Capital Territory of Abuja, as a tanker explosion occurred close to the school, causing chaos.

Living Faith Church, often known as Winners Chapel, is the owner of the Kingdom Heritage Model School.

The founder and current presiding Bishop of the church is Bishop David Oyedepo.

A tanker carrying diesel overturned while en route to a nearby petrol station at around 11:30 in the morning.

Parents flocked to the school to pick up their children as the tanker caught fire, generating a disturbance in the neighborhood.

It was gathered that the school management had sent a ‘distress message’ to the parents to pick up their children for safety purposes following the explosion.

Many parents who could not understand the nature of the explosion thought that the school and the church were under attack considering the insecurity in the country.

Meanwhile, when SaharaReporters visited the scene firefighters from the FCT were seen battling to put out the raging fire which was a few metres away from the school. No life was lost in the incident.

Some teachers and other staff members in the school formed a circle on the premises, praying over the incident.

News Direct could not ascertain the cause of the explosion at the time of filing this report but normalcy has returned to the area.
