BREAKING: Massive Pipeline Leakage In Ikeja [PHOTOS]

The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) has raised an alarm following a report of a gas pipeline leakage in some parts of Ikeja, Lagos State Capital.

According to the southwest coordinator of NEMA, Mr Ibrahim Fariloye, the affected parts of Ikeja are Computer Village /Underbridge Awolowo Way and Oba Akran. Other areas affected include Onifowose Street, Medical Road.

He strongly advised occupants of computer village “not open shops or use open naked fire”.

“Residents around Computer Village /Underbridge Awolowo Way and Oba Akran axis, Onifowose Street, Medical Road must not open shops or use open naked fire for safety reason.

“Distressed alert just received indicates massive leakage of gas pipeline around these areas,” he told News Direct.

He added that emergency responders are working to prevent the unforeseen.
