BREAKING: Man United Complete Signing Of Cristiano Ronaldo

On Monday, Manchester United finalised the signing of Cristiano Ronaldo for a sum that might rise to 23 million euros ($27 million) from Juventus for his second stay at Old Trafford.

United announced in a statement, “Manchester United is delighted to confirm the signing of Cristiano Ronaldo on a two-year contract with the option to extend for a further year, subject to international clearance.”

The Premier League club will pay €15 million (£12.9 million) and a further €8 million (£6.9 million) in add-ons for the Portugal captain, who had his medical over the weekend in Lisbon.

Cristiano has won almost 30 major trophies in his career, including five UEFA Champions League crowns, four FIFA Club World Cups, seven league titles in England, Spain, and Italy, and the UEFA European Championship for his native Portugal.

Cristiano Ronaldo is the first player to win leagues in three different nations; he also scored the most goals in Serie A last season and earned the Golden Boot in the European Championship this year.

He scored 118 goals in 292 appearances during his first career with Manchester United.
