BREAKING: Kaduna Orders Closure Of 13 Schools Over Abduction

The Kaduna State administration has ordered the immediate closure of 13 schools in areas classified as vulnerable to bandit attacks following the attack on the Bethel Baptist High School on Monday.

A large number of pupils were taken from a school in the state’s Chikun Local Government Area.

The Director-General of the Quality Assurance Authority in the state Ministry of Education, Umma Ahmed, issued an order to private school owners, stating that the closure was effective immediately.

Failure to comply was warned in the message.

Faith Academy, along Kachia Road near to Jakaranda; Deeper Life Academy, Maraban Rido; Ecwa Secondary School, Ungwar Maje; and Bethel Baptist High School, Damishi are among the schools affected.

St. Peters Minor Seminary in Katari, Prelude Secondary School in Kujama, Ibiso Secondary School in Tashar Iche, and Tulip International (Boys) and Tulip International (Girls) School are among the others.

Goodnews Secondary School, Kujama; Comprehensive Development Institution (CDI), Tudun Mare; and Adventist College, Kujama are also on the list.

“You are hereby advised to adhere to the contents of this letter as appropriate sanctions shall be meted out to schools that are found wanting for non-compliance, please,” it stated.
