Insider Reveals What Akeredolu’s Doctors Could Not Get Before He Died

An insider has revealed what the medical team that treated the ailing Ondo State Governor, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, could not get before his sad death.

Reports had it that Governor Akeredolu died on Wednesday in Lagos State. While he had gone abroad for treatment in the past, due to some reasons, he was not flown abroad this time and had to remain in Nigeria for urgent treatment.

An inside source who confirmed the death of the sick Governor disclosed that “They were looking for dialysis machines to be sent to his secret location in Lagos last week.” This revelation suggests that the medical team might have had difficulties in getting some of the advanced medical facilities they required to adequately manage his condition here in Nigeria since he could not be flown abroad.

Despite all attempts to manage the situation, Akeredolu eventually passed on. He died at the age of 67.

He had handed over power to his Deputy, Lucky Aiyedatiwa to serve as Acting Governor. That development followed months of failed attempts to impeach the Deputy Governor and the eventual intervention of President Bola Tinubu who directed that the Governor should transfer power to Aiyedatiwa to end the raging political crisis that engulfed the Sunshine State.
