BREAKING: Gunshots in Ajase Ipo as OPC, Fulani clash
A conflict between Fulani and Oodua Peoples Congress (OPC) members erupted on Friday in Ajase Ipo, Irepodun Local Government, Kwara State.
Gunshots were heard as attackers attacked automobiles on the roadway.
According to reports, the altercation began on Friday night in Kaara market in Ajaase Ipo.
Operatives have been dispatched to the scene, Kwara State’s Police Public Relations Officer, Ajayi Okasanmi, told Daily Post over the phone.
The number of fatalities, in his opinion, cannot now be determined.
