BREAKING: Explosions Rock Maiduguri Metropolis, As Terrorists Attack Borno Capital

At least four distinct explosions were heard early Saturday morning in Maiduguri, Borno State, in the villages of Gomari district and 1000 housing estates.

Terrorists are suspected of masterminding the explosions, which fired rockets in several directions while troops and an airforce task team engaged them in an attempt to repel the onslaught.

The explosions began early, according to eyewitnesses, with the first two happening at Gomari airport and the third erupting in a structure near the Hajj Transit Camp, where repentant Boko Haram fighters are being housed.

Speaking to one of the victims who was among those killed, Mallam Kulima said he owes it all to God to thank him for preserving his and his family’s life, as no one was killed.
