BREAKING: Court rules against suit challenging Oborevwori as PDP Guber candidate

The Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwuori was declared to have been duly elected as the party’s candidate at the governorship primaries held in Asaba, Delta state, according to Justice Okon Abang of a federal High court in Warri, Delta state.

A lawsuit brought by Chief Novwe Ikie, a party candidate for governor in the primary elections, contested the procedures used to choose Sheriff as the winner.

Hon. Sheriff was declared to have been duly nominated by Justice Abang yesterday, who also noted that he had won the primary contest.
