BREAKING: Bandits Invade Abuja Estate, Kidnap Residents In Early Morning Attack

In the early hours of Monday, a huge group of armed men, suspected to be bandits, attacked Genuine Estate, a private estate in the Gwarinpa district of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.

The criminals, who were armed with machetes, daggers, and cutlasses, outnumbered and overwhelmed the security guards, according to NEWS DIRECT, and attacked some of the estate’s homes.

“They operated in the estate for about three hours. They abducted some of the residents,” a source said, as details still remained sketchy.

Bandits arrived at the estate on 6th Avenue behind Efab Queens around 1 a.m. and left around 4 a.m.

Josephine Adeh, a spokesperson for the FCT Police Command, claimed the crime was a robbery, not a kidnapping.

According to Adeh, a Deputy Superintendent of Police, officers had already been sent to the scene to investigate the event.
