Chief Kenneth Okpara, one of the governorship candidates in Delta State for the 2023 general elections, has died.
The governorship candidate for the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) was previously the State’s Commissioner for Finance.
He died on Friday morning, according to reports.
Although the family has yet to authenticate the tragedy, Olorogun Arthur Akpowowo, a serving commissioner in the state, confirmed the death in a post on his Facebook page.
“Eku will remember you for a long time to come. RIP Kenneth O. Okpara,” he wrote.
