Barcelona To Replace Messi With Lacazette, Aubameyang

According to Sport, Barcelona is considering moves for Arsenal attackers Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette.

However, the LaLiga club will only pursue the trade if Martin Braithwaite can be sold for a sufficient sum.

Ronald Koeman, the manager of Barcelona, had previously stated that he would like to bring in a new striker.

The Catalans will be unable to pay a fee for either Aubameyang or Lacazette due to their financial difficulties, so any deal would have to include a player swap.

Barcelona is determined to enhance its attacking alternatives following Lionel Messi’s transfer to Paris Saint-Germain.

Antoine Griezmann is already available, and wingers Memphis Depay, Ansu Fati, and Ousmane Dembele can all contribute significantly.

Sergio Aguero, who joined the Nou Camp this summer, is expected to miss roughly ten weeks after damaging a tendon in his right calf.

Arsenal lost to Brentford on Friday, and Aubameyang and Lacazette were both absent, citing illness as the reason for their absence.
