Bandits May Soon Kidnap El-Rufai, Masari, Two Other Governors — Adeyanju

On Wednesday, Deji Adeyanju, a socio-political activist, cautioned the governors of Kaduna, Katsina, Zamfara, and Niger States of banditry’s activities.

Bandits may soon kidnap Governor Nasir El-Rufai, Bello Masari, Bello Matawalle, and Abubakar Sani, according to Adeyanju.

Bandits may kidnap those governors, according to the Abuja-based activist, if they continue to praise President Muhammadu Buhari for glorifying terrorists.

Concerned Nigerians’ convener, in a tweet, encouraged governors to confront Buhari about the rise in bandit activity.

Adeyanju wrote, “Bandits may soon abduct Zamfara, Katsina, Niger & Kaduna governors if they continue to praise Buhari as he pampers terrorists. Call out Buhari the failed Commander-in-Chief.”

Across the states mentioned by Adeyanju, students and religious leaders have been kidnapped, with some being killed.

Gunmen suspected of being bandits recently raided the Nigerian Defence Academy in Kayode, abducting two Majors and killing a number of personnel.

Bandits attacked again on Monday, kidnapping family members of lawmakers from the Katsina State House of Assembly.

The terrorists attacked Bakori Housing Units and kidnapped former NBC director Ahmed Abdulkadir and his 15-year-old daughter, Laila.
