Yoruba Nation: Don’t Stage Any Rally In My Name – Sunday Igboho Warns Supporters

Mr. Sunday Adeyemo, also known as Sunday Igboho, has issued a warning to his supporters not to stage any protests in his name.

This information was revealed in a statement released by his lawyer, Yomi Aliyu.

Igboho, a renowned Yoruba agitator, was recently arrested in Cotonou on his route to Germany after the Nigerian government declared him wanted.

Igboho, who is still imprisoned in the Benin Republic, has cautioned his supporters not to stage any protests in his name.

In a statement made available to DAILY POST on Thursday, Igboho’s counsel, Yomi Alliyu, stated that Igboho had requested that no rally be held in his name.

He further requested that no one attack any public place or security officers in the name of Yoruba nationalism.

“There is time for everything. Chief Sunday Adeyemo Igboho Oosa is desirous of respecting those murdered in his house on that black 1st July 2021.

“In that wise, he has advised against staging any demonstration or rally in his name for the time being.

“He will also like people to respect his family by not calling his mum out for anything public. Igboho for now has no authentic mouthpiece anywhere.

“In that wise people are advised to take anything said by anybody claiming to be from him with a pinch of salt.

“Let’s respect the dead. On no account should anybody attack any public place or security personnel on the pretence of agitating for the Yoruba nation.
