4 More Bethel Baptist Students Escape Captivity

Four more Bethel Baptist High School students who had been kidnapped have been released.

On Monday in Kaduna, the chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Kaduna State, John Hayab, verified the event.

“Yes, on Sunday, July 25, another four pupils escaped from their kidnappers and were reunited with their parents,” Mr Hayab stated.

Despite the most recent development, he said that other pupils were being held captive.

The bandits had stormed the school in the early hours of July 5 and kidnapped an unidentified number of children.

ASP Mohammed Jalige, a spokesman for the Kaduna police, verified the development.
