Musiliu Ayinde Akinsanya, aka MC Oluomo, Vice Chairman of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) South-West Zone, has urged the area to back Bola Tinubu, National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), in his presidential bid.
Tinubu was described as an upcoming President by MC Oluomo in a short video.
The call was made by the Lagos State Chairman of NURTW in response to Tinubu’s visit to the Governor of Zamfara State, Bello Matawalle.
Tinubu, who paid a visit to Matawalle following the recent bandit killings of several people, donated N50 million to the victims.
During his visit, the former governor of Lagos State also stated that President Muhammadu Buhari has the ability to destroy Boko Haram, bandits, and other criminal groups.
Sharing a video of Tinubu in Zamfara, on Facebook, Oluomo wrote: “My amiable APC national leader and incoming president (insha allah) visits Zamfara State Governor, Dr Bello Muhammad Matawalle, to sympathise with them over the senseless bloodletting occasioned by the nefarious activities of bandits.
“This is another call to our brothers and sisters in the South-West to support our father, son and friend, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, for the 2023 presidential election. A man with God is a majority.”
Meanwhile, Tinubu had informed Buhari of his presidential ambition.
The APC National Leader informed the President of his intention during a meeting on Monday at the State House.
