2023 Polls: INEC Chairman Meets Leadership Of APC, PDP, LP Others In Abuja

At the commission’s offices in Abuja, Prof. Mahmood Yakubu, the chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), met with the heads of the 18 political parties.

The purpose of the first meeting of the year is to comply with the requirements of the 2022 Electoral Act by providing the parties with the 2023 voter registration prior to the elections.

Leaders of the All Progressives Congress, Peoples Democratic Party, Labour Party, and New Nigeria People’s Party were among those present at the conference.
