Tension As Soldiers Discover Body Of Murdered Fulani Leader, Vow To Take Action

Troops from Operation Safe Haven have recovered the remains of Ardo Adamu Idris Gabdo, a Fulani leader who was reported missing in Bauchi State.

Ardo Adamu Idris Gabdo, also known as Ardo Panyam, disappeared on September 24 while visiting his relatives in Panyam, Mangu Local Government Area of Plateau State. The Army Headquarters announced on its official platform that Ardo’s body was found on Wednesday along the Pankshin – Bauchi Road in Tafawa Balewa Local Government Area of Bauchi State.

The army credited the discovery to their ongoing community engagement efforts. The deceased’s body has been handed over to his family for a proper burial. The military has vowed to pursue the culprits of this crime relentlessly, promising to bring them to justice.

The investigation will continue with increased determination to identify and apprehend those responsible, ensuring justice prevails, as directed by the Chief of Army Staff. Operation Safe Haven is committed to working diligently to uphold security and protect lives and property in the Plateau region and the entire Joint Operations Area.
